Ladder Recall-PHOTOS: Consumer Product Safety Commission
NASHVILLE, Tenn.–A brand of aluminum ladders sold at Lowe’s and Home Depot stores this year is being recalled for posing a fall hazard.
Werner Ladder is recalling 78,000 of it’s aluminum ladders which can break while in use, posing a fall hazard to the consumer.
The recall affects five different models ranging from 13-26 feet. The company has received one report of a ladder breaking while in use, resulting in an injury.
The affected ladders were sold at the retailers from April 2018 through May 2018.
Below are the model numbers and ladder sizes affected. All have date codes of 121744XX or 011844XX.
