Chicago – Google Places Push

posted in: Google, Technology 0

We ran into Google Places in Chicago this past weekend.  They had about 8 Samsung Chromebooks on display for anyone to stop by and test them out.  They were asking people to login into their Google Account and write reviews of local businesses.  Then depending on how many reviews you wrote you were able to receive a Tshirt, Coffee Mug, Sunglasses or Google Cutting Board.

Here you can see us getting our picture taken with the Google people.

We reviewed enough places to receive 2 Tshirts. My enthusiasm was a bit strange to the Googlers.

Google Places is the online directory for businesses who want to make sure their information/reviews are accurate and positive.  It’s free and recommended for any business who is on the web.

Start here.  If you need help, just let us know.
